ADDIS ABABA – Canada’s International Development Minister Harjit S. Sajjan on Friday said that he will visit Ethiopia as part of a three-nation Africa tour. Sajjan will visit Canada-funded projects, meeting with development and humanitarian partners and beneficiaries in Ethiopia and Chad. In Addis Ababa, he will also meet with African Union officials in Addis Ababa as a follow-up to the first Canada-AU Commission High-Level Dialogue, which was held in Ottawa in October 2022. Sajjan will also take part in the African Development Bank Group or AfDB’s Annual Meetings which will be held in Egypt. “Canada is committed to working with African countries and key continental organizations, like the African Development Bank Group and the African Union, on shared priorities,” Sajjan added.
