Indeed, anyone who stands for greater cooperation with China is vilified in the Western media as well as in Western-allied media from the Global South as an ‘agent’ of China or a promoter of ‘disinformation’. This madness has made it impossible to have an adult conversation about China. Firstly, elements in Western intelligence attempt to brand any dissent against the Western assault on China as disinformation and propaganda. Countries in the Global South can learn a great deal from China’s experiments with socialism. We need to have an adult conversation about China, not one imposed upon us by powerful interests that are not our own.
