For decades, Republican presidential candidates have had the same relationship with the state of Pennsylvania that Charlie Brown had with a football. Traditionally, western Pennsylvania has been filled with rock-solid union Democrats while suburban Philadelphia has been filled with loyal and middle-class Republicans. Accordingly, this year Donald Trump has been running strongly in western Pennsylvania. And he’s losing women by double digits in the Philly suburbs.”In Pennsylvania, Trump faces a major challenge.
