That would trigger a war that would consume not just the two countries, but Africa’s Northeast and possibly beyond. To bypass Sudan, Egypt apparently negotiated with Somalia to use its territory for staging a ground attack. A major way to vindicate the award is to do what is necessary to avert war with Egypt. For the sake of infrastructural development—from roads to airports and seaports—several African countries, including Ethiopia, have mortgaged themselves to China.
