Much like dietary-restriction and caloric-restriction regimens, intermittent fasting has proved to be effective for many individuals with regards to weight loss. Other programs limit food intake to a small window of approximately six hours per day, known as time-restricted feeding. Most chronic diets, and I suspect intermittent fasting, also cause a reduction in lean body mass.
