Campbell Tartans and Riffel Royals split high school basketball doubleheader
Anton Yanko scored 31 points to lead the Riffel Royals to an 85-84 victory over the Campbell Tartans in Regina Intercollegiate Basketball League junior boys action Tuesday. Kayhl Patel led Campbell with 19 points. In a junior girls game, Fynlea Carter’s 32 points paced Campbell in a 73-59 victory over Riffel. Emerson Hollinger paced the Royals with 15 points. • • •Guillaume St. John scored 47 seconds into overtime Tuesday to give the Notre Dame Hounds a 3-2 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League victory over the visiting Battlefords North Stars on Tuesday.
