The Duchess of Cornwall appears to have become something of a confidante to the newest member of the royal family, Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex was pictured holding hands with Prince Harry's step-mother during Charles' 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. In a rare - and touching - display of affection between members of the royal family, Camilla, 70, can be seen holding tightly onto Meghan's hand during the newlywed's first official engagement as a Duchess. Perhaps Camilla, who herself became a Duchess when she married Prince Charles in 2005, was drawing on her own experience of being the 'new girl' to reassure Harry's new wife. The new Duchess of Sussex stunned in a cream dress with sheer mesh sleeves by Goat, a brand loved by her sister-in-law Kate as she attended a garden party celebrating Prince Charles' 70th birthday at Buckingham Palace yesterday.
