General News of Saturday, 10 September 2016Source: alafnet.comCameroonian woman elected judge at ACHPR, TanzaniaMadame Suzanne Mengue Ntyam OndoA Cameroonian super-scale Magistrate has been elected Judge at the African Court for Human and People’s Rights Court, ACHPR, based in Arusha Tanzania for a 6 year mandate. Madame Suzanne Mengue Ntyam Ondo was elected at the 27th African Union Conference that took Place in Kigali, Rwanda from 10-18 July 2016. The legal luminary, who is also adviser at the Cameroon Supreme Court, took her oath of office on September 5 2016 after which she met with the Cameroonian community in Arusha Tanzania. It was in 2010 that she became President of the Administrative Contracts Division of the Supreme Court. Since 2015, she is chairing the Commercial section of the Supreme Court.
