(Khmer Times photo)PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport issued an announcement on Friday to suspend the entry of travellers through waterways to prevent the spread of the Covid-19. Mak Sideth, director general of the General Department of Waterway-Maritime Transport and Ports, said the ministry is currently informing all owners of passenger ships about the suspension at all waterways, including sea ways and ports, the Khmer Times reported. “The department has decided to suspend the entry of passengers and ships from now on until further notice,” he said. Remaining passengers of the ship are currently placed under quarantine in a hotel in the province.
