MANILA, Philippines — The assistant provincial officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Camarines Norte was found dead in Lupi town yesterday. The PDEA office in Bicol said Barba was supposed to meet an informant in Daet town. Five sachets of shabu and drug parahernalia were reportedly recovered from the fatality. Bersaluna said six other drug suspects, who yielded 16 sachets of shabu, were arrested in Malolos, Meycauayan, Marilao and Sta. In Isabela, “high-value” target Regie del Mundo was arrested in a drug sting in Barangay Ugad, Cabangan, on Monday.
