The Blues forward suffered the rupture during the first half of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Burnley last night. The draw was a bitter blow to Maurizio Sarri’s side’s top four chances, especially on a weekend when Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United all dropped points. Hudson-Odoi’s injury was undoubtedly the worst part of the evening, however, given the youngster’s rise into the first team in recent weeks. The Englishman has quickly become a fan favourite at Chelsea, with his heroics with the youth team and in the Europa League having earned him his first start last month, since when he has been a key player.
