Civic Party legislator Kwok Ka-ki appealed to the government today to start putting all travelers to Hong Kong from Europe in quarantine, saying the measures currently in place are "grossly inadequate," RTHK reports. Kwok, who is also a medical doctor, said Hong Kong should consider tougher measures regarding travelers from Europe being as the number of cases on the continent continues to soar. "Apart from a very few countries in Europe, most of the countries already have local transmission. Kwok noted that some of the latest patients in Hong Kong are believed to have been infected in Britain and the United States. On Tuesday, the SAR government announced a compulsory 14-day quarantine period for people arriving from certain areas of Europe.
