DEVDAHA, April 7: The people's representatives from Siddharthanagar Municipality in Rupandehi have asked the authorities for the operation of the Gautam Buddha International Airport at the earliest. During the inauguration event of the Siddharthanagar Municipality's administrative building on Monday, the people's representatives urged the federal government to make a serious effort to bring the international airport into operation. Mayor Khan expressed confidence that the country's economic activities would become vibrant if the airport were to operate in full capacity. "Operation of the airport will not only contribute to the development activities of Bhairahawa. It will increase tourists' arrival," Mayor Khan added.
