There are a few easy ways to start this puzzle. My first gimme was SHANIA Twain, because the entry is six letters, so a “Twain of note” can’t be Mark, and SHANIA is the only other noted Twain I know. Up in the northwest, we know that St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in MID-MARCH, yes? Somewhere in the recesses of my brain I remembered that home runs are sometimes called DINGERS. Maybe it was a case of my overthinking things, and I’ll get into that in the next section.
