The Fapuasa general secretary called for the immediate repair of the varsity’s boundary wall which has been broken at some places, posing security issues. Farooqi, however, claimed that there was satisfactory security at the varsity for ambassadors and VIPs who came to attend convocation and other events. State’s interest should be prioritised when dealing with other countries: KU VCFarooqi also discussed matters related to the varsity’s admission policy. Some students had been denied admission to KU, he said, adding that the association would request the vice-chancellor and admission committee on Monday to resolve issues of students who could not get admission to KU.
