Young disabled people in Slough have been invited to kickstart a sporting journey at a free sports taster session this Saturday morning (March 2). The session, aimed at all disabled children aged between 8 and 14 years old, offers the chance to have a go at sports including wheelchair rugby, disability football and inclusive cycling. For the activities, children will have access to Herschel Grammar's sports hall, Multi-Use Games Area and astroturf pitch. Active in the Community already run sessions elsewhere in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire but are looking to expand to Slough to increase opportunities for young disabled people to enjoy sport. Vishnu said: “We're targeting young kids for this event and then hoping to further expand our events to include more age groups for boys and girls."
