Credit: TreyarchCall Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is already a major departure from everything we've come to expect from Activision's annual shooter franchise. The developer may be ditching the traditional map pack DLC season pass in favor of more regular map releases. People first started wondering if this would be the case when Activision didn't reveal a season pass alongside the Black Ops 4 reveal. Only season pass owners can play on the new maps which whittles away the player base over time. If these reports are true, this could be a huge win for the Call of Duty community and for Black Ops 4.
