BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Southern California woman convicted of conspiring with her lover to kill her husband was denied a new trial and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. A jury in Bakersfield last year found Sabrina Limon, 38, guilty of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and other charges. Prosecutors said Sabrina Limon conspired with former firefighter Jonathan Hearn in the killing so they could be together. “No amount of time Sabrina spends in prison will ever bring my brother back,” Lydia Marrero, Robert Limon’s sister, told the court before the sentencing. Julie Cordova, Sabrina Limon’s sister, has been caring for the children since Limon was arrested in January 2017.
