California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said Tuesday that there would not be any criminal charges against the officers involved in the fatal shooting of Stephon Clark last year. “Nothing can bring back Stephon Clark and nothing helps end the pain that his family carries,” Becerra said. “So I want to close by extending my hand to the Clark family. Sacramento District Attorney Anne-Marie Schubert said Saturday that the two cops who shot Clark would not face criminal charges. “This ain’t justice,” the group tweeted after the state attorney general made his announcement.
