The YYC Music Awards ceremony is releasing its list of nominees in the lead up to its first ever gala event in Calgary. Artists in 18 categories will be awarded for their work at Studio Bell in the National Music Centre on Sept. 25. The award honours the former musicians with the band — Zachariah Rathwell and Josh Hunter — who were two of the victims of the Brentwood stabbing in 2014. The Peoples Choice Award also won't be revealed until the gala. A list of who to vote for is posted here.
