CALGARY—A large hole had been blown right through the Guns of the Golden West’s historical re-enactment show last summer when a stolen trailer left them without their prized cannon. The cannon was claimed by a local historical old west re-enactment group this week. Bob Wilson, 66, the public relations officer at Guns of the Golden West responded on Wednesday night and identified the prop as the group’s own. When CPS put out a call about the cannon, Wilson received a flurry of messages notifying him that his company’s prized possession may have been found. But Wilson and the Guns of the Golden West will be reunited with their cannon next Wednesday, much to his company’s joy.
