There is a heavy police presence at the Sirocco LRT station along 17th Avenue, west of Sarcee Trail S.W., as police investigate unconfirmed reports of a man with a weapon. People exiting the train at Sirocco station told CBC News that two people were escorted from the train by the police tactical team, and that one man was handcuffed. Police surrounded Sirocco CTrain Station in southwest Calgary on Wednesday afternoon during an investigation. Calgary police's tactical unit responded to Sirocco CTrain Station on Wednesday.
