Calgary yards are filled with food, but for many the prospect of picking and processing hundreds of fresh fruits is daunting. That's where Calgary Harvest comes in. Founder Adrian Buckley says the group has completed 40 harvests this year — a record — and if all goes well, it could harvest another 20. Calgary Harvest partners with Leftovers Foundation and the Mustard Seed, but is looking for more not-for-profits to help. Buckley says they are raising cash for equipment to squeeze more harvests into each season.
