CALGARY—Today is the biggest day for Calgary’s possible Olympic bid in months as the group tasked with crafting a hosting plan will publicly present long-awaited details of hosting the 2026 Winter Games. The Calgary Olympic Bid Corporation, also known as Calgary 2026, is set to present their draft plan concept to city council at 1 p.m. today. If Calgary city council elects to go ahead with the bid process today, Calgarians will vote in a Nov. 13 plebiscite on whether they are for or against hosting the Olympics in 2026.
