Parking in LAOn the topic of high parking prices on July 9th, Carolina A. Miranda laments the high parking prices – but what should the people of Los Angeles and broader California do? Except maybe downtown San Francisco, downtown Los Angeles and a few other places in California, you need a car to get around. In many older areas of Los Angeles, where apartments were built when families only had one car, people have to search for parking and they can find it within blocks of their homes. I lament the need for cars, the need for parking, and our dependence on the car as much as anyone else. I use the list to select books to put on hold through the Libby app at the LA and Pasadena public libraries.
