A person was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries Sunday after a serious car crash in Caledon, police said. The collision happened just before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Old School Rd., said Ontario Provincial Police. OPP said a Ford Escape, travelling south on Highway 10, struck a northbound Porche as it attempted to turn left onto Old School Rd. The passenger in the Porsche’s front seat was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The driver of that car was unhurt, and the passenger and driver from the Ford were taken to a local hospital with less serious injuries, said the OPP.
