When Caleb Agada heard that Ontario university athletes were excluded from the provincial government’s list of “elite amateur leagues,” he knew he had to speak out. Agada spent five seasons playing in Ontario University Athletics, a league that he says shaped him as a player. “It’s just a slap in a face to athletes that come out the OUA,” Agada told the Star from Melbourne, Australia, before the update was announced.
