SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed while eight others were arrested in separate anti-narcotics police operations over the weekend in Laguna and Cavite provinces, police reported on Monday. Still in Laguna, Jomar Lirio and Kenneth Francis Aguila were arrested around 11 p.m. Sunday in Barangay Mayondon, Los Baños town. Police said they recovered from the suspects five plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” or crystal meth worth P10,000. ADVERTISEMENTMeanwhile, in Cavite province, authorities arrested Jonathan Ramos in Barangay San Miguel 2, Dasmariñas City around 1:30 am Monday. The suspect yielded five sachets of suspected shabu, police said.
