The talks tackled the executive mechanisms required to approve the constitutional and legislative basis for the national elections in Libya, Libyan sources told Youm7 on Friday. The head of the Egyptian National Committee on Libya has welcomed Libyan parties participating in meetings of the Libyan constitutional course committee. Manfi also valued Egypt’s diligent efforts led by the President to support Libya, particularly its contribution to restoring the national institutions and unifying Libya’s national army. This is in addition to the vital Egyptian supportive role at the international level for the current political track in Libya, Rady continued. The meeting reviewed the developments of the situation in Libya and efforts to restore security and stability in the country.
