JD(U) sources said they were still not informed about their participation in the government. Singh, who is its parliamentary party leader in the Rajya Sabha, and Santosh Kumar are the likely picks from the new NDA constituent. The current strength of the council of ministers, including the prime minister, is 73 and the maximum number of ministers cannot go beyond 81.
