Cabinet names new advisers, govt spokespersonThe cabinet has approved the appointment of three advisers and a new government spokesperson for Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's second-term administration, with Rachada Dhnadirek taking charge of public communications. Officially assuming her duties at Government House on Tuesday, Ms Rachada said she was aware of the challenges ahead. To address this, she said coordination would be strengthened among the Government Spokesperson Bureau, ministerial spokespersons and relevant agencies to ensure prompt clarification when issues arise. Ms Rachada acknowledged that delays in official communications had previously contributed to public anxiety, noting that even a few hours' delay could significantly affect public perception. Regarding criticism from the opposition, Ms Rachada said the government would prioritise clarifying facts rather than engaging in political confrontation.
