This work will be done under the National Highways Development Project. The development of this stretch will also help in uplifting the socio-economic condition of this region in the state. This work will be done under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-IV on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (BOT/DBFOT) basis in Build-operate-Transfer (BOT) (Toll) mode. The cost is estimated to be Rs 2,028.91 crore including the cost of land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the development of four laning of Aurangabad-Telwadi Section of NH-211 in Maharashtra.
