National Institute of Local Government in Dhaka's Agargaon area CollectedCabinet Secretary (Coordination and Reform) Dr Shamsul Arefin inaugurated the programTo strengthen good governance of local government institutions, the Cabinet Division inaugurated a training session at the National Institute of Local Government (NILG) in Dhaka on Tuesday. The Cabinet Division of Bangladesh in association with the British Council, Bangladesh, organized a three-day-long training session to enhance capacity building of decision makers among district levels, local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and representatives of local government. “All officials need to take this training session very seriously so that people can get quality services from concerned departments,” he added. The training course was organized under the Platforms for Dialogues (P4D) project of the British Council which was funded by the European Union. According to British Council officials, the P4D project started operating from July 2018.
