IN Anambra, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Monday solicited the support of Political Parties, stakeholders towards mobilising eligible residents to participate actively in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), exercise. Dr. Orji Nwachukwu, INEC Resident Electoral Commission (REC), made the appeal during a meeting held in it state headquarter with party chairmen and other stakeholders in Awka. He said the active participation of stakeholders, especially traditional and religious leaders, Market Men/Women would greatly assist the commission in capturing eligible voters. He also said additional Registration centres will be mounted in all the eleven Tertiary Institution located across the state. Ndubuisi Nwobu, the Chairman People Democratic Party PDP, in Anambra State said that the meeting was timely and would achieve meaningful results.
