CVG recently ranked sixth among the worst U.S. airports for summer travel in a new ranking by Forbes Advisor, a financial advice website. According to the analysis, CVG has the seventh-highest percentage of arrival delays at 8.85%, which includes delays caused by late-arriving aircraft. Additionally, CVG ranked 21st for the lowest percentage of on-time flights at 75.03% and 59th for the lowest percentage of flight cancelations at 1.95%. Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) tops the list of worst airports for summer travel, with the lowest percentage of on-time flights (66.72%). St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) came in second, ranking the worst for both percentage of weather delays (3.66%) and percentage of flight delays caused by late-arriving aircrafts (15.07%).
