Customs authorities arrested a man who was claiming a package which contained 1.3 kilos of marijuana at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Customs District III Collector Ed Macabeo, said the parcel was sent by a certain Minerva Thomas of Colton, California. The parcel also contained two backpacks, a tackle box, a cooler, fishing strings, and shoes. All of it contained dried marijuana leaves, one vial of Cannabis oil and three grams of marijuana seeds. The suspect is still in the custody of Customs awaiting charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
