The poster by CUHK Joint Student Unions in promotion of their exhibition was warned by the university for containing potentially illegal content and illegal use of portraits. The poster, which promotes an anniversary event for the fierce confrontations at the university campus, features a flag that read "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times" being held by black-clad protesters. It also includes the mugshots of vice-chancellor Rocky Tuan and former vice-chancellor Joseph Sung, which they were at the scene during the clashes trying to de-escalate the situation. In a statement, CUHK said the poster contains potentially illegal content and inappropriate use of images. The exhibition, scheduled from November 11 to18 on the university's campus in Sha Tin, is to commemorate the first anniversary of the prolonged battles at the university campus, where protesters hurled petrol bombs, bricks and other objects at police who responded with countless rounds of tear gas and rubber bullets.-Photo: CUHK Joint Student Unions
