The new boss who will replace David Some at the Commission for University Education (CUE) must holder master’s degree from a university recognised in Kenya. CUE chairman Prof Chacha Nyaigotti-Chacha in an advert said the applicant must be an individual of high integrity who possesses at least 10 years’ experience in the management of a university. The successful candidate is being offered a competitive remuneration package and benefits in accordance with the Commission’s policies and guidelines. The new chief executive officer will be tasked with ensuring that the Commission complies with the spirit and letter of the constitution and will lead in the process of regulation of the University education sector.
