KARACHI: Two terrorists of proscribed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) arrested in Sukkur on Saturday morning in a critical condition following a gun battle with the counter-terrorism department (CTD) of Sindh police passed away hours later in a hospital. A CTD official, Mazhar Shahwani, told reporters that a raid was conducted on a tip-off to arrest the members of the Afghanistan-based militant group in the vicinity of Patni police station in Sukkur. Following an exchange of fire, the terrorists were arrested by the raiding team. They were shifted to the hospital where they succumbed to wounds, said Shahwani. Shahwani said that the terrorists were identified as Wilayat and Shah Mehmood.
