CTD arrests hardened terrorist of outlawed Jundullah group


KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Karachi Police has arrested a wanted terrorist of outlawed Jundullah terror group. In a press briefing on Thursday, CTD chief Raja Umar Khattab said that arrested terrorist Muhammad Ishaq alias Gul was named in the red book. He had come to Karachi for a major terrorist attack in the metropolis, the CTD chief claimed. Ishaq alias Gul was a neighbor of Ataur Rehman alias Naeem Bukhari of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist group, he said. Jundullah is the terrorist group who was involved in an attack on Corps Commander Karachi on June 11, 2004.
