The police force performing a full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day celebrations at the historic Golconda Fort in Hyderabad . Singh has directed all departments concerned to put in coordinated efforts to make the Independence Day celebrations – organised at the Golconda Fort – grand and peaceful. In a review meeting held here on Friday at Golconda Fort, Mr. Singh told them to make flawless arrangements since the Chief Minister, ministers, freedom fighters, students would be participating in in large numbers. He told the officials to make separate enclosures for guests, award winners, media personnel and VIPs, and ensure that only two people accompanied each award winner. Singh, IG (CID) Shikha Goel, DIG (Protocol) Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police M. Mahender Reddy, Principal Secretary (GAD) Adhar Sinha, Commissioner of GHMC B. Janardhan Reddy and several others participated in the review meeting.
