Transport and Roads Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kipchumba Murkomen issued a response after images of a deaf-mute lady who was stripped naked in a matatu went viral. In a statement responding to the photos, the Transport CS assured the victim that investigations were ongoing and pledged to give an update on the matter. "Investigations on this matter are ongoing and I will update the nation soon," the CS said. In the incident that left a section of Kenyans shocked, the tout of the matatu operating along the Nairobi-Meru route allegedly stripped the lady naked after she was unable to express herself about the bus fare charged.
