Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku said the DP position is not up for discussion. "We have heard the leader of the ODM party, Senator Oburu, declare that the ODM party wants the position of Deputy President in 2027. We will find someone from their side to be Deputy President, but for now, the position of Deputy President is not vacant. In 2027, the Deputy President position will be held by our own, Kithure Kindiki," he added.
