More than 30 foreign leaders have taken the lead in receiving jabs of Chinese vaccines. Equatorial Guinean President Teodoro Obiang said Chinese vaccines have brought a ray of hope to his country's struggling fight against the epidemic. Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the vaccines donated by China were like the light at the end of the tunnel. "Africa must not be detached from the world of science, technology and innovation led by China," said former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
