CP Women’s Open cancelled for second year in a row due to COVID-19 challenges

For the second year in a row the CP Women’s Open will not be played. “We are so grateful to CP and Golf Canada for their continued support of the CP Women’s Open and the LPGA Tour,” said Ricki Lasky, Chief Tournament Business Officer for the LPGA. The 10-time LPGA Tour winner grew up about an hour from the course and had a legion of local fans support her every move. Despite the cancellation, Canadian Pacific confirmed they had extended their partnership with Golf Canada an addition year, to 2024, which includes the title sponsorship of the CP Women’s Open.
