On August 11 France reported 1,397 new cases and Germany 1,226, for instance. However, if you take into account the total number of deaths, you can see that it is much smaller. While Spain has so far had a total of 28,579 deaths, the United Kingdom has reported 46,526, Italy 35,215 and France 30,354. I very much hope that the Philippine Star will take into account all the above information in order to provide a more accurate picture of the situation of the pandemic in Spain.
