India registered 14,313 fresh COVID-19 cases and 549 virus-related fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry data showed. Active cases account for less than one percent of total cases. However, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region comprising nine municipal corporations and nine municipal councils continue to report a high COVID-19 daily caseload. Delhi reported a positivity rate of 0.06% as it reported 37 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The total count of COVID-19 cases in the city has gone up to 14,39,788 and the active caseload in the city stands at 334.
