COVID-19 travel updates: Canada releases new registration process, Dubai requires two PCR tests

Two major airlines announced on Monday new coronavirus-related requirements for passengers traveling from Egypt to Canada and Dubai. Passengers must complete this step in order to obtain the approval code that will allow them to board the plane. Customers can stay up-to-date on the latest travel requirements by visiting EgyptAir’s website or calling 1717 in Egypt. According to Emirates Airline’s website, passengers traveling from Egypt to Dubai will now have to undergo two COVID-19 PCR tests—one up to 96 hours before entering the country, and one upon arrival. Canada and the United Arab Emirates remain at a level three travel warning according to Center for Disease Control’s website, meaning all non-essential travel is discouraged.
