Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday said Bangladesh will soon send COVID-19 pandemic related medical accessories to Sri Lanka under the ‘SAARC Covid-19 Emergency Fund. She has given the assurance during the bilateral talks held with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in Dhaka yesterday. PM Hasina further said, “We appreciate your leadership in efficiently handling the COVID-19 pandemic. Prime Minister Rajapaksa repeated his invitation to Prime Minister Hasina to visit Sri Lanka in 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Hasina accepted the invitation.
