COVID-19 on P.E.I.: What's happening Monday, Feb. 8


An Island couple say they'd like to see a more efficient way of making appointments to get a COVID-19 vaccine. The province's COVID-19 testing sites at Borden, O'Leary, Summerside, Charlottetown and Montague were closed due to the storm, and people 80 and up weren't able to get a vaccine appointment through the province's hotline because it was also shut down. The City of Charlottetown is concerned about how the extended ban on cruise ships will affect local businesses and the municipal budget.
